  1. Outreach & Education

I will work with organisations relevant to our student body, like Farming Community Network, to educate and encourage safe practice and healthy habits in our community. Information and resources will be shared effectively, through social media, interactive events and signposting.

  1. Wider Community / Off Campus Safety

I will aim to improve Town & Gown relations to ensure that students feel safe and comfortable off campus. Engagement with local sports teams, leisure and social opportunities will help RAU integration within the local community. I will continue to utilise good working relations with local Police officers, to ensure that we feel safe.

  1. Support/Advice

I will provide a confidential listening ear to anyone that may need extra support or signposting, irrespective of situation/topic of concern. I want all students to feel comfortable reaching out and seeking support.

  1. Feedback

I will lobby for any action needed, regarding student welfare & wellbeing, at relevant university committees and meetings. I will gather feedback in a variety of ways, such as forums, discussions, and an open door/inbox policy.
