Candidate Profile: Sneh Rawat

BSc (Hons) Agriculture

Why have you decided to run for the role of President?

I’m running for President because I know RAU can be more connected, more responsive and more enjoyable for every student. Working across operations, events, and frontline services has shown me where communication breaks down and where students feel unheard. I want to fix that. I want faster responses, clearer information, and a campus where everyone feels included — academically, socially, and in everyday life. This role gives me the platform to bring students together, strengthen support systems, and create a community where people feel informed, involved, and genuinely valued.

Why would you be a good President?

I would be a good President because I understand what students actually need — not just academically, but socially and day‑to‑day. Being a student here has shown me how important it is to feel connected, included, and able to socialize without barriers. I’m approachable, proactive, and confident in bringing people together, whether that’s through clearer communication, smoother processes, or more opportunities for students to meet, relax and enjoy campus life. I listen, I act, and I follow through. I bring professionalism, strong people skills and a genuine commitment to making RAU a more supportive, engaging and enjoyable place for everyone.

Why should students vote for you?

Students should vote for me because I get things done, and I genuinely care about making RAU a better place to study, live, and socialize. I’ve shown that I can fix issues quickly, improve communication, and make student life easier. I bring energy, organization and fresh ideas — from more engaging events and activities to stronger academic support and a more inclusive campus culture. I’m approachable, reliable, and not afraid to speak up for what students need. If you want a President who listens, acts and delivers, I’m ready.

Anything else you would like to add?

I bring experience, energy and reliability that will genuinely benefit the RAU community. Working across events, operations, and frontline services has given me a clear understanding of what students need and how the University operates. I’m committed to creating a more connected, inclusive and enjoyable campus — with better socializing events, clearer communication and faster action on student concerns. I care about people, I listen, and I follow through. I want to make everyday student life smoother, more supportive and more fun, whether that’s through academic improvements or more opportunities for students to come together socially.
